Let's get something dead straight before we start. 

I hate phony prospecting & lead generation tactics . I hate them more than you do, and I always have.

Really, I do. And if you give me a few seconds I will tell you why.

But first, let's start with how I got here, and why I'm writing this...

I can remember like it was yesterday.  The time where I would write that "warm market" letter to my friends, family, and former co-workers and tell them how excited I was to be working on a new venture. 

or how about peddling bottles of juice to the neighbor across the street or leaving free samples at my friends mom's house on the doorstep.

or when I designed 500 ugly green door knob hangers and walked door to door with my bag jammed full of these ridiculous marketing pieces.

It wasn't so easy then...  very few people knew about generating leads on the internet -- it was virtually untapped - a goldmine. 

But soon enough droves of marketers began to show up and post massive amounts of ridiculous ads that said "Greatest Home Business Ever!" or "Ground Floor Opportunity, Get In Now!"  I have to admit -- that's how my first 18 months went...

Including buying overpriced $7.50 leads and making 30 - 75 cold calls
per day... YUCK!

If I wasn't so naive about how rich I was going to get in the next 3 - 6 months -- I probably would've quit.
